SELF CHECK-IN
Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive a check-in link from us 48 hours ahead of your arrival date via email and text. The check-in requires a photo of your government-issued identification, a photo of yourself, and a $100 security deposit and incidentals hold, which is released when you check out. You may purchase early check-in and/or late check-out on the link. Once completed you will receive your room assignment and QR code digital room key prior to check-in time on the day of your arrival.

SELF CHECK-OUT
For check-out, you may scan the QR Code in your room to notify us of your departure or simply leave the room by your check-out time.

Smart Technology Policy

At Reading Vitality Hotel, we embrace the convenience and efficiency of smart technology to enhance our guests’ experience. As part of our commitment to innovation, we would like to inform you that our hotel rooms are not equipped with landline telephones. Instead, we require guests to utilize their own smart devices for various communication needs. 

Check-In and Digital Room Keys: To streamline the check-in process, guests are required to use their personal smart devices to complete the check-in procedure. Our user-friendly website allows you to easily provide your information and receive a digital room key directly to your device. This digital key will grant you access to your assigned room throughout your stay. 

Contacting Front Desk and Emergency Services: In case you need to contact our front desk or request assistance during your stay, we kindly ask that you use your own smart device. QR Codes posted in the rooms will connect you directly to our staff, who are available to assist you promptly. Additionally, emergency services can be reached by dialing 911 or the appropriate local emergency number from your personal device.

Guests must be at least 18 years of age to reserve a room and check in.

Room Occupancy

Deluxe King and King Accessible Rooms accommodate up to 3 guests. Deluxe Double Queen Rooms  accommodate up to 4 guests. 

Payment & Cancellation Policies

STANDARD REFUNDABLE RATE
Upon booking your card is charged the first night of your reservation. You have up to 24 hours prior to check-in to cancel or change your reservation for a full refund.  After that time, your card will be charged any remaining amount on your reservation and is nonrefundable.  All changes are subject to availability. 

NON-REFUNDABLE RATE
Upon booking your reservation will be charged in full and is NON-REFUNDABLE. Guests may change the dates of their stay up to 24 hours prior to check-in. All changes are subject to availability. 

TAXES & FEES
Please note that all reservations are subject to the taxes and fees below.
Amenity Fee: $20 / day charge per reservation
Tax: Pennysilvania Occupancy Tax (5%), State Tax (6%).

 We realize that there may be circumstances beyond your control. For this reason, we recommend purchasing travel insurance for peace of mind.  

Security Deposit

You will receive a check-in link via text and email 48 hours prior to arrival, that will request a credit card for our $100 security deposit hold which is released at checkout. Depending on your bank, it will take 1-3 business days for the funds to be returned to your account. The following factors will be taken from your security deposit at management’s discretion:

  • Noise complaints
  • Interior damage
  • Damage to or extensive staining of linens
  • Smoking in non-smoking areas
  • Breaking maximum occupancy
  • Disrespecting other guests
  • Missing items
  • Unauthorized filming
  • Any violation of house rules
Housekeeping

Housekeeping service is available by request daily through our Virtual Concierge. On the third day of your stay, you will automatically receive a full refresh service. Garbage will be collected at the time of refresh service or after the check-out. To have your garbage collected simply leave the can outside the door and we will remove the trash. If you require service, fresh towels, linens, or amenities at any time during your stay, please contact our Virtual Concierge and we will be happy to assist.

Pool Rules
  • Pool hours are from 6 AM – 10 PM
  • No glassware by the pool
Parking

Complimentary uncovered on-site parking in designated Hotel Guest area is available to registered guests. We will request your car make and plate number upon check-in. Please note, any unauthorized vehicle will be towed.

Pet Policies / Service Animals

We accept ADA service animals only. 

Packages

All packages must be addressed to the reservation holder and be delivered within your reservation dates.  Please note that the hotel will not be responsible for packages handled at the hotel.  

Photography

Any professional photography being filmed at the property (regardless of personal editorial, or commercial) requires prior approval from hotel management. Photography without consent is a violation  of hotel policies. Please contact the hotel for details.  

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in rooms or common areas, or on balconies. Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas only.

Guest Responsibility

While accidents happen, guests will be financially responsible for damage due to gross negligence.

Do you have a front desk or concierge?
We are a self check in hotel with a Virtual Concierge for your convenience. Our team is available around the clock to assist you during your stay. With our digital check-in and key system, the process is seamless and efficient. To check in, simply follow the check-in link we’ll send you 48 hours before your arrival date. The process requires uploading a photo of your ID, a selfie, and a $100 security deposit, which will be released upon check-out. You can also use the link to purchase parking and request early check-in. Just before your check-in time, you’ll receive your digital key and room assignment, allowing you to enjoy a hassle-free arrival experience. What is the Security Deposit policy?
We authorize a $100 security deposit / incidentals hold on your online check-in link. This is an authorization hold on the funds which will show as processing during your stay and is released upon checkout, once your room is inspected. You will see the funds reflected back on your account generally in 1-3 days, depending on your bank. The security deposit can only be collected on your check-in link and we do not accept cash. What is your pet / service animal policy?

We are a non smoking property. Smoking, vaping and the use of electronic cigarettes is not permitted in rooms or common areas, or on balconies. Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas only.
Do you offer a Military or AAA discount?

Can I request housekeeping?
During your stay, we provide a complete room refresh on the third day. Additionally, you can request fresh sheets, towels, or room cleaning anytime through our Virtual Concierge. Can I pay cash for the room charges or security deposit? Can I pay when I get there?
We kindly inform you that we do not accept cash for security deposits or room charges. Only credit or debit cards are accepted as payment methods. Additionally, please note that payment upon arrival is not allowed. Your security deposit will be processed through the online check-in link, which you’ll receive 48 hours prior to your arrival. It is required to be completed by 4 PM on your check-in date. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Are children allowed?
Yes, we do allow children at our hotel when accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. We welcome guests of all ages and strive to provide a family-friendly environment for an enjoyable stay.

Our standard check-in time is 4 PM. However, we offer a guaranteed early check-in option at 1 PM for a fee of $20, subject to availability. To secure this option, you can purchase it through the pre-check-in link, which will be sent to you 48 hours before your arrival. What's the latest I can check out?
Our standard check-out time is at 11 AM. However, we offer a 1 PM late check-out option for a fee of $20. On the day of check-out, you will receive an auto text at 9 AM, reminding you of check out time and offering the late check out option. If you reply Yes, your room key will be extended until 1 PM, and the $20 fee will be charged to your card on file. You may always contact our Virtual Concierge at any time to add this to your reservation. Enjoy the extra time for a more relaxed check-out process.
Can you put flowers, champagne, or balloons in the room?
While we are unable to order or place items in your room, you are welcome to have items delivered directly to your room after your arrival. There are numerous local florists and delivery services available for your convenience. If you’d like a specific recommendation, feel free to let us know, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
Can I have a package delivered and held for me upon arrival?
When ordering any packages, please ensure they are addressed to your room number and delivered within your reservation dates.
